Sunday: The 26th Annual Feria del Barrio

Enjoy great music, dancing, food and fun, all afternoon!
La Feria is Here!
For over 26 years, the Feria del Barrio has entertained crowds in Philly’s Hispanic community. This year will be no different because on Sunday, September 20th the Feria del Barrio will bring Zion and Lennox, one of Puerto Rico’s hottest reggaeton duos.
Serving as one of Philadelphia’s largest celebrations of Latino arts and culture, the annual Feria del Barrio brings together thousands of community residents from throughout the Greater Philadelphia region for a free family event featuring some of the world’s most renowned musical artists. And what better way to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month than with a festival!

Enjoy the whole afternoon with food, music, dance and more. Don’t come alone because the kids can have fun too in the Children’s Zone. Don’t be disturbed by the people in masks, those are stilt walkers and they’ll be wearing vejigante masks (a traditional Puerto Rican custom). While you’re in the area stop by Centro Musical. It’s a one-stop shop for Latino music and musical instruments, as well as a source to find musical groups and DJs.
Feria del Barrio is done in collaboration with Congreso del Latinos Unidos, the Hispanic Association of Contractors and Enterprises, and RaÃces Culturales Latinoamericanas and Taller Puertorriqueño. The festival takes place in historic El Centro de Oro, which is minutes away from Center City on the Market-Frankford line.
