Nice to finally see an extremely positive story about Philly sports fans making the rounds in the national media.

The Today Show hosted the Monforto family this morning to talk about the event from Tuesday’s Phillies game that has made national news. Dad Steve, mom Kathleen and daughters Emily and Cecilia made the trip up to New York to discuss Steve’s catch and Emily’s throw with Meredith Viera and Matt Lauer on national television. Overall, a very sweet story. Check out the video below.

And note that in addition to the action on the field, Emily also likes the hot dogs at Phillies games. Smart girl.
