Apple season has arrived, bringing with it vats of hot apple cider, transcendently good doughnuts and that cozy fall feeling. Bucks County’s Peddler’s Village is gearing up to celebrate all things apple over the weekend of November 7th and 8th.
At this, their 38th annual Apple Festival, you’ll find an array of edible apple specialties, including crisp apple fritters, warm apple pie and hot, savory apple dumplings. The Peddler’s Village restaurants will all also be featuring delicious apple specialties all weekend.

Once you’ve had your fill of the apple-stuffed cuisine, you can pick out a few apples from the area’s orchards to take home or watch the cider making demonstration (they use an antique cider press, same as the ones farm families have been using for centuries). Then, follow your nose to to the apple butter station, where cooks will stir apple butter in a huge cauldrons over an open fire, just like they used to.
And, if that’s not enough, there’ll also be live musical entertainment, jugglers and stilt walkers on the Main Green, as well as 40 artisan booths on the Street Road Green that will feature decorative ironwork, folk art, jewelry, pottery, Victorian stained glass, leather creations, hand painted and reproduction furniture.
