Follow Philly Te Ama on Twitter

¡Philly Te Ama! I mean who doesn’t love Philly? Did you know Philadelphia is the 2nd largest Hispanic market in the northeast? How about Taller Puertorriqueño, the first Latino organization in the state to receive the Governor’s Award for the Arts? Want to know more about our city’s rich Hispanic scene? Well now you can, because thanks to Twitter, you too can become a Philatino.
Hispanic’s are the nation’s fastest growing population and Philly is no different. We are proud to claim some of the most eminent Latino chefs/owners in the country — Douglas Rodriguez of Alma de Cuba; Jose Garces of Tinto. And as you know Philly is a city of neighborhoods; el Centro de Oro is home to many Latino-owned restaurants and shops, as well as the site of the community’s major festivals.
Whether you need the closest taqueria or where to find a local salsa group, give us a mention and we’ll be right there to answer.
So follow @PhillyTeAma and feel the vibrant pulse of Latino Philadelphia.
