Friday and Saturday: Halloween Hikes at The Schuylkill Center
October 23rd and 24th, The Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education presents Halloween Hikes, a family-friendly evening romp through the vibrant woodlands surrounding the center.
Geared toward children of all ages, the unique experience begins with a night hike, providing an up-close look at a few nocturnal creatures such as owls, red foxes, bats and more. After the hike, hop in a wagon for a hayride and listen closely to hear the sounds of the night.
The fun doesn’t stop there; venture out to the Schuylkill Center’s pumpkin patch and select your very own pumpkin to paint, then cap the night roasting marshmallows and making s’mores around the campfire. A tasty and educational evening!
