Fright of Fancy: Halloween Dance Party & Costume Show @ Fabric Horse

Fabric Horse, one of Toby’s favorite boutiques in Northern Liberties Piazza, is hosting a Halloween party, and you’re all invited.
Come Saturday, Fabric Horse will take over the Latvian Society of Philadelphia over on 7th and Spring Garden for their “Fright of Fancy” Halloween fashion show and dance party. Carrie Collins, the owner of Fabric Horse, has “assembled the best and brightest of the Philadelphia art scene to make custom made costumes, games, prizes, and performances for an epic Halloween blowout.” This includes a photo-booth created by Space 1026 artists and a Zombie Brain Toss game by Gerik Forston of R.E.Load Bags.
In fact, the list of talented artists involved in this show is more than extensive. Dave Laverdure (Club Lyfestile), Audra Phillips, Sara McCorriston, Tip Flannery (The Vaudevillains), and Uwishunu favorites Topstitch Boutique are just a handful. Rose Luardo, the front-woman for Sweatheart (and Trading Space contestant) will host the event’s fashion show.
Show up in a costume, and you’re automatically entered in their costume contest, where winners will receive one-of-a-kind custom made trophies by sculptor Sabrina Lessard.
All this, a dance party featuring members of Plastic Little spinning… and admission is only $10. Presale tickets are available at Fabric Horse, and will be available for purchase at the door. Have fun!
