The Phanatic will be at the pep rally (sorry, no hot dog bazooka today).

Mayor Nutter will lead the charge at a Phillies Pep Rally today from 12 noon to 1 p.m., taking place at City Hall’s Dilworth Plaza.

Also in attendance will be the Phillie Phanatic, Phillies Ballgirls, Fightins alum Darren Daulton and PA announcer Dan Baker.

Being seasoned vets of Phillies pep rallies, we have some tips to offer:

- Wear Phillies Red. You’ll stand out like a sore thumb if you don’t.

- Get there early! (Meaning, leave now.) You don’t want to be craning your neck to see the notable speakers.

- Bring your camera. This is a day to remember!

Now that we know we’re playing the Yankees, it’s time to get extra crazy in the name of the Fighin’ Phils. See you there!
