Phillies Fever: Top Five Places to Watch the Game

Watching a Phillies postseason game is a sacred event. And you can’t watch it just anywhere; you need the right combination of TV, beer and atmosphere. Or else you might jinx the team.
So we’ve picked the very best places to watch Wednesday’s 2:37 p.m. matchup between the Phils and the Colorado Rockies. Our top five:
- McGillin’s Olde Ale House: Philadelphia’s oldest tavern will serve red and white Phillies-tinis and the Phanatic Pheckin Bomb. High-def TVs? They’ve got eight.
- Pub & Kitchen: While watching Wednesday’s game, you’ll enjoy free hot dogs and Cracker Jack (sorry, no peanuts). Supplies are limited!
- Chickie’s & Pete’s: The South Philly location (one of six) was once named ESPN’s 3rd best sports bar in America. Beer, TVs, crab fries and team spirit galore!
- Ladder 15: The Center City newcomer has some impressive happy hour specials, plus high-def TVs raised high so you can see over the giant dude in front of you.
- American Pub: This subterranean newbie at 15th and Market is an appropriate place to watch America’s Team in action.

Northbowl is an honorable mention? Have you ever seen the televisions in Lucky Strike?
