Phillies Fever: Where to Watch the Phillies Game (NLCS Edition)

And on we go to the NLCS! The Phillies will face off against the L.A. Dodgers — a rematch of last year’s championship series — starting tonight at 8:07 p.m.
Last week, we pointed out some NLDS viewing locations (here and here). Once again, we’ve brought you a few of our favorite places to watch this all-important round of baseball.
- North Bowl: Participatory sports, meet spectator sports. The TVs in North Bowl’s bar area are quickly upstaged by the giant projector screens in the main bowling area, so you can watch all nine innings while you bowl through your 10 frames.
- Chickie’s & Pete’s: Phillies PA Announcer Dan Baker will do some special broadcasting (trivia games, announcing the players, etc.) during tonight’s game, live from the 1526 Packer Ave. location.
- 10 Arts: Top Chef contestant Jennifer Carroll revealed in her interview with us that she recommends the 10 Arts lounge for a few drinks while watching the game. Phillies in the Ritz-Carlton? Not bad.
- Good Dog Bar: Seven flatscreen TVs across three levels of authentic Philly gastropub should be enough room to sprawl out and enjoy the game. Meanwhile, you’ll be equipped with enough microbrews (including a few fall editions) to keep you nice and loose throughout.
- Pub on Passyunk East (P.O.P.E.): While sporting just two TVs, the bar’s full of enough team spirit to have you toasting and roasting with perfect strangers (all Phillies fans, of course). Bonus: for the requisite celebratory cheesesteak, Pat’s and Geno’s are just a few blocks away.
- The Piazza at Schmidts: Catch the game on the Piazza’s jumbo projector screen, which will show all of the remaining Phillies games. And while you can’t drink alcohol in the Piazza, you can get your fill at surrounding bars like The Swift Half.
- McGillin’s Olde Ale House: Props are always in order for the oldest bar in Philadelphia, especially when they have a “Phillies-tini” on the menu.

And, as always, go Phillies.
