Phillies vs. Dodgers: Renewed Rivalry, 2009 NLCS
In anticipation of the Phillies/Dodgers NLCS, our friends at Discover Los Angeles created a friendly “rivalry” page, highlighting fun tidbits on the two cities’ fans and teams.
Just in time for Game 1, we’ve created a companion page, complete with ways to tell a Phillies fan from a Dodgers fan, encourages fans to send a Philly Phanatic e-postcard and provides a brief history of the post-season rivalry, which dates back to 1978.
Also featured on the page is our very own Marisa, who recounts growing up as a Dodgers fan and her transition to Philadelphia and becoming a Phillies fan. Check out her story in the video above.
