Photo of the Day: William Penn Statue Presides Over the Philadelphia Skyline

From his perch atop City Hall, William Penn looks eastward towards his childhood home in England. **Ed. Note: Thanks commenter "whut" for the correction. Despite commonly accepted Philadelphia lore, William Penn is facing northeast toward Penn Treaty Park, not his homeland of England.** (Photo by B. Krist)
After the jump, another view of the Philadelphia skyline.

The Comcast Center, the second building from the right, is now Philadelphia's tallest building.

Emily and Anthony, thanks for the photo props. We don’t have plans to post full-resolution versions of these photos, but you can find great, wallpaper-sized photos from our With Love campaign (inc. a classic shots of the Phanatic and the Philly skyline) at http://www.gophila.com/withlove.

Hello, I really love this photo! I am having my daughter’s graduation party soon and I would love to use this for her invitation. How would I go about doing that? (It fits in so well with the theme.)
Thanks very much!
