The scene at Shorty’s last night was amazing, filled with Phillies fans living in New York City. Thanks to everyone who came out!

Phillies fans made an incredible home-away-from-home for their team in the cheesesteak shop/bar in New York City’s Hell’s Kitchen, creating a sea of Phillies red-and-white. Maybe it’s just what the Phillies needed to take Game 1 from the Yankees.

Fox 29 was there. KYW 1060 was there. MLB.com was there.

Happy cheesesteak eaters, as seen below, were there in abundance.

John Bolaris, Hugh Douglas and the rest of the Fox 29 crew made the trip up to New York and stayed the whole game, even broadcasting the news from Shorty's directly after the game.
