The Painted Bride Arts Center

This Sunday, the Painted Bride Arts Center introduces a new series in their long line of artistic presentations. Entitled Atypical, the Bride is working with curator Rucyl Mills, who has “her fingers on the pulse of the next big thing” and plans to put them on the Bride’s stage. This month’s feature, Noise Makers, brings Ryat, DJ Statik, and Hezekiah to the Painted Bride.

Ryat is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, and composer. She’ll be discussing her process, and demonstrate live vocal processing. DJ Statik will be demonstrating his use of Serato software and turntables. Hezekiah, an emcee, producer, musician, songwriter, etc… he’s been working his way up through the Philly hip-hop scene, and will answer questions, discuss his artistic process, and give a short performance.

This all takes place this Sunday, October 25th, from 7PM to 10PM at the Painted Bride Arts Center in Old City. For more information on the Bride, be sure to visit their official website.
