Saturday: Annual Harvest Festival at the Reading Terminal (Really!) Market

One of the best places in Philadelphia for sure (Photos by G. Widman for GPTMC)

This post may look a little familiar, and that’s for a good reason. We originally posted it last week, when Reading Terminal Market’s Harvest Festival was on track to take place on October 17th. However, inclement weather pushed the festival back one week to October 24th. The rest of the details remain the same!

Okay food lovers, are you ready for another harvest festival? If so, head on over to Reading Terminal Market this Saturday, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., for some big-time harvest fun. They’re closing down Filbert Street between 11th and 12th Streets and bringing the farm to you with hay bales, corn stalks and a pumpkin patch, as well as tractor rides around the block.

Inside the market, you’ll find gallons of hot apple cider, tons of local fall vegetables and all the preserves that Pennsylvania Dutch families put up for winter. Don’t miss it!
