Saturday: Celebrate Mural Arts With Muralissimo @ the Piazza

Happy 25th, Mural Arts!
This weekend, on Saturday, October 24th, Philadelphia’s wonderful Mural Arts Program is celebrating their 25th Anniversary. That’s right, twenty five years of making our city look even more beautiful.
The party takes place at the Piazza at Schmidts in Northern Liberties. This family-friendly festival includes free mural tours leaving every thirty minutes on foot, bike, and double-decker bus, interactive mural-making activities, a kids’ zone with coloring stations, face painting, and pumpkin painting for Halloween, as well as live music by local musicians.
For those of you looking to decorate your home, several Mural Arts Program artists will be at the event, selling personal work. This includes Cathleen Hughes, Mike Smash, Deb Zuchman, Rodney Camarce, and Angela Crafton.
Parking is free (spots adjacent to the Rialto), and the festivities kick off at 11. For more information, visit Mural Arts’ official website.
Happy birthday, Mural Arts!
