Ah, the Society Hill Playhouse. I’ve seen some great plays at this cozy theater on 8th and Lombard, from shows at the Fringe Festival to their currently running musical The Kids Left, The Dog Died, Now What? and it’s always a been a pleasure. And while I’ve only been a visitor to this theater for the past few years, others have been involved with it for 50, and the playhouse is ready to celebrate that fact this Tuesday.
On Tuesday, October 27th, the Society Hill Playhouse will be celebrating their 50th year anniversary, and guess what? You’re invited. The general public, former employees, subscribers… anyone and everyone is invited out to the festivities, including a special cake-cutting ceremony at 6PM. If you’re interested in attending, be sure to RSVP with the Playhouse by calling the number below.
And while you’re there, why not pick up some tickets for their current and upcoming shows? The Kids Left… is currently running on the mainstage, with Angels in America coming to the Red Room at the end of the month.
