This Friday, the Kimmel Center continues their string of fantastic jazz concerts through the month of October, with a performance by Philadelphia’s own Christian McBride.

McBride is celebrating the 20th anniversary of his musical work with a performance that features a ton of special guests, including Grammy Award-winner Bruce Hornsby. He’ll be playing four sets in one night, each featuring different artists; the Philadelphia All-Star Band (Byron Landham, Odean Pope, Jaleel Shaw, Joe Sudler), The Family Basses (Christian with his father and great uncle), Hornsby, and Inside Straight (his new band).
