Anniversary Week at Royal Tavern

Royal Tavern has been brightening East Passyunk with burgers, vegetarian delights and a river of great beer for seven glorious years now. Their tenure is proof that they’ve got sticking power (the average lifespan of a restaurant is under five years) and now it’s time to party.
All week long, they’ll be celebrating their birthday with specials, contests and limited time menus. Devoted diners recently voted for their favorite retired menu items and the winners will be coming back starting Thursday night and running through the following Monday (the complete list of winning dishes is after the jump).
Additionally, on Tuesday, November 17th, they’ll be hosting the Burger Party (intended to become the first annual). According to the press release, “There will be DJs. There will be prizes. There will be drink specials. And there will be burgers.” Sounds pretty good to all of us here at uwishunu HQ.

I thought they just went all vegetarian. How can this menu be correct?

Lisa, they only went vegetarian for one night. My apologies if that wasn’t clear. They do, however, always offer a number of dishes designed for the vegetarian/vegan diner.
