Next Monday, acclaimed pianist Jeffrey Siegel opens his Keyboard Conversations series at the Kimmel Center, presenting a program full of beautiful, romantic pieces. Entitled Chopin for Lovers, the program is a tribute to Frédéric Chopin. Appropriate, considering we’re nearing his 200th birthday.
Each work in Chopin for Lovers was inspired by a different woman in Chopin’s life. Siegel will perform several of Chopin’s most famous works, including Waltz in E-flat, Scherzo No. 3, and Fantastie Impromptu.
The concert takes place on Monday, November 16th in the Kimmel Center’s Perelman Theater. To lean more about Jeffery Siegel and his Keyboard Conversations series (now in it’s 40th year!), stop by his site. And for ticket information, be sure to visit the Kimmel’s official website.
