Local playwright Alex Dremman will soon unveil his debut performance at Studio 5 in the Walnut Street Theatre, beginning November 21st. One small problem: it’s invisible. Alright, we’ll stop pulling your leg. It’s not really invisible, but in Dremman’s The :nv:s:ble Play, first displayed in 2007′s Philadelphia Theatre Workshop’s PlayShop Festival, people will surely turn out that way.

The Chesnut Hill resident’s debut work involves the offices of the Existential Publishing Company, where employees are being laid-off left and right along with some vanishing altogether. Colin, an employee who can’t decide which is worse, is struggling to stay visible long enough to be noticed by his crush in the next cubicle over, Fran.

From Tim, the handsome corporate suck-up, to the sultry and saucy (and pregnant) Carmen and nearly every office-stereotype-turned-upside-down in between (not mention some good ole existentialist allegory), The :nv:s:ble Play promises to be insightful and hilarious.

Tickets are on sale now for $18 and will cost $20 at the door, which isn’t too bad to see a potential knee-slapper and to support local theater. So, grab your tickets now to The :nv:s:ble Play before it disappears. Sorry, couldn’t resist.
