Calling all yoga practitioners! Looking for a way to combine your regular (or not-so-regular) practice with a good cause? Consider signing up for the Upward Dog event, to be held on November 14th. It’s a benefit event for PAWS, the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society that allows you to be good to your body and to homeless animals, all at the same time.

A donation of $25 will buy you the opportunity to participate in a two-hour yoga class led by Ellen Greenberg, owner of Practice Studio on Fabric Row. The class will be held in the Sanctuary at the Fleisher Art Memorial at 8th and Catharine Streets from from 4 – 6 p.m. All proceeds benefit PAWS. Attendees will receive treats and coupons and are asked to bring their own mats, if possible (a few will be available for those who are mat-less). To sign up, visit the Facebook event page.
