Crafty Balboa @ the Broad Street Ministry: Like Rocky, Only With Arts & Crafts

Crafty_Holiday_Ad

I love craft fairs, especially around the holidays. I can usually find a ton of great, handmade Christmas gifts for my friends and family, and the money I spend goes back into Philadelphia’s wonderful artistic community. So you better believe I’ll be stopping by the Crafty Balboa Holiday event at the Broad Street Ministry this Saturday.

That’s right. Come Saturday, December 5th, the Broad Street Ministry is hosting a rather large craft show, featuring over 40 artists from the region. From jewelery to housewares, fine art to photography, there is certainly something for everyone, and that’s usually the case with Philly craft fairs.

The first 50 shoppers will receive special tote bags, loaded with items and coupons from the vendors. So get in line, folks.

For a full list of participating artists (including my local favorite, GirlsCanTell), hit the jump. Happy shopping!
