First Friday Roundup: Christmas Ornament Workshops, PAFA Print Sale, & More!

The Painted Bride Arts Center hosts the opening reception of "Shelter" tomorrow night
Neighborhood Walk in Fishtown & Kensington
With over thirty merchants, galleries, and studios participating, this stroll along Frankford and Girard Avenue certainly looks promising.
First Friday @ the Khmer Art Gallery
The Khmer Art Gallery, one of the nation’s only galleries specializing in Cambodian art, will have lots of works on display today, accompanied by the useful array of wine and nibbles. Stop by, and visit Vox Populi while you’re there.
Free Hands on Workshop @ the Clay Studio
I do love that word. Free. Tonight at the Clay Studio you can make FREE Christmas ornaments at the opening of their latest exhibition. The artists will be on hand to help you create the newest addition to your Christmas tree.
Make Your Own Ornament @ the Chemical Heritage Foundation
The Clay Studio isn’t the only one making Christmas decor. The CHF is inviting guests to stop by and make their own paper mache Christmas ornaments.
Student Print Sale @ PAFA
PAFA’s printing department hosts their annual sale, with original prints by PAFA students for under $100.
Hellboy Art Exhibit @ Brave New Worlds
My favorite comic shop in Philadelphia is hosting a Hellboy themed art gallery. Check it out.
Shelter @ the Painted Bride Arts Studio
Tomorrow is the opening reception of Shelter, a new multimedia exhibition by 17 local artists. Read up on it on the Bride’s official website.
First Friday Craft Bazaar @ Top Hat
Head over to 247 Market Street and go upstairs for Top Hat’s Craft Bazaar, running from 7PM to 10PM.
Art Opening @ Philly Book Co.
At 7PM, the Philly Book Co. will be launching a new art exhibit in their large bookspace, featuring the paintings of Jill Knapp and Kevin Niemi, and the photography of Danika Smith.
