Holiday Seven Fishes Dinner at Avalon Restaurant
I’ve often heard tell of the traditional Italian Christmas Eve dinner that includes seven different kinds of fishes. Sadly, not knowing any Italian families who maintain the practice of that particular feast, I’ve never had the opportunity to try it myself.
Happily, John Brandt-Lee, the chef and owner of Avalon Restaurant in West Chester recently announced that he’s bring the Feast of the Seven Fishes to his dining room on December 24th. He’s offering a 5-course prix fixe meal that will include antipasti, pasta, secondi, insalata digestivo and dolci.
Cost is $45 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under. The meal will be served family style and the restaurant is happy to make to accommodate large groups. Click here for more information.
