Local 44: Kicks the Keg Before Christmas, Celebrates One Year Anniversary on New Year’s Day

A very crowded Local 44!
The end of 2009 marks Local 44′s first year in business and, like McGillin’s, they are ready to party.
Local 44 shuts down on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, but on December 23rd, they are drying out their kegs. Head over to Local 44 to help them polish off all their remaining beer. Everything on draft is just $3, until all of their 20 kegs run completely dry. All of them. They’ll reopen on the 26th.
Now on New Year’s Day, starting at 4pm, Local 44 has a line up of special anniversary and holiday beers, as well as free food (what!) at 5pm. They’ve got a lot of hard-to-find beers from Stone, Scaldis, Lost Abbey, Dogfish Head, Ommegang, Port Brewing, Russian River, and more.
Two parties, one great pub. Stop by.
