New Year’s Eve @ the Independence Seaport Museum

I know, I know… it might feel a little early to start talking about New Year’s Eve, but with the amount of events going on here in Philadelphia for NYE, I’ve simply got to get a head start! And first up on the list, is New Year’s Eve at the Independence Seaport Museum.
Guests are welcome to ring in the New Year with a complimentary sparkling cider toast and a fantastic view of the 6pm fireworks display from the Seaport’s second-floor terrace, overlooking the Delaware River. Kids will be treated to free noisemakers and party hats (while supplies last, of course), and families are invited to check out the galleries and gift shop.
That’s right, even though it’s New Year’s Eve, the museum will be open through 7PM. This gives you time to check out the Skin & Bones exhibit, which closes on January 3rd.
Everything is free with general museum admission. For more information, visit the Seaport Museum’s official website.
