Smith’s: The Kids’ Play Place in the Park, is set to host an open house event this Saturday, December 19th, and they’ve got some surprises in store for visitors.

The Play Place is inviting children 10 and under and their caregivers to their annual Victorian Open House. This three hour open house is free, and features a special visit from the Philadelphia Zoo on Wheels.

Characters from the Enchantment Theatre Company’s current production of The Adventures of Harold & the Purple Crayon will be on the scene, hanging out and posing for pictures. Children and adults are invited to participate in creating holiday crafts together, while listening to the music of Catherine Stein.
