Painted Bride Quarterly Story Slam @ the Pen & Pencil Club
Ah, story slams. Seems like us creative types in Philadelphia just can’t get enough of them. First Person Arts tears it up down at L’Etage, and the Painted Bride Quarterly hosts their own every now and again. This Thursday, you can experience one.
Stop by the Pen & Pencil Club this Thursday, December 10th at 7:30PM, to join the Painted Bride Quarterly for a story slam. Come prepared with a piece of prose or poetry you’ve written in advance, and use the words “dog,” “slipped,” and “red” somewhere in the piece.
The PBQ is keeping all the details a little hush-hush, but promises a mix of Whose Line is it Anyway and Henry Rollins. So if you want more info on the event, you’ll have to go out and participate. Good luck!
