Photo of the Day: Happy First Day of Winter from Snowy Philadelphia!
It snowed in record numbers this weekend in Philadelphia (23 inches total), making the city a very cozy and festive place to be. (All photos by M. Edlow)
Those undeterred by the winter wonderland took to Center City for some last-minute shopping and a spot of hot chocolate.
City Hall looked gorgeous with snowflakes fluttering about — here's hoping Billy Penn was warm enough up there!

Love those awesome photos of the city covered in snow. I used to live in Philly and makes me wish I was there now. I recalling fond memories of white christmas in the iladelphi!
