This weekend, the recently opened Doghouse Gourmet Burgers in Downingtown, PA is offering up a fun chance for parents and kids to come by, learn to cook, and make quite the mess in the process.

On Saturday, December 5th, Doghouse is inviting parents and kids in for a special cooking class. Executive Chef Carlo deMarco will demonstrate cooking techniques and the importance of safety as he guides kids through the creation of their very own gourmet burgers. Kids can choose from your standard burger ingredients, like pickles and ketchup, or get a little more fancy with chipotle aioli and cheeses.

Both children and parents are welcome to participate in the class, and tickets are only $25, for both parent and child.
