A new holiday tradition comes to an old Philadelphia locale this season. The Marriott in Center City will be hosting a one-day event fun for kids and adults alike. An afternoon tea time will be set up in the Marriott’s fabulously festive Liberty Ballroom.

Choose from two time-slots on Sunday, December 13th, 11am–2pm or 3pm–5pm. Take a break from the hustle and bustle of the season and have a traditional tea break. A variety of sandwiches are paired with tea and hot chocolate. The event also features a 20-minute performance of The Nutcracker by The Rock School, photo opts with the dancers, and gifts for the kids.

Since the Marriott is centrally located in Philly and very near to some of the best shops and historic sites, it would be a good idea to take a tea break after some gift shopping, or as an energy boost to get some shopping started!
