Part of the Kimmel Center’s Free at the Kimmel Series, the Philadelphia Handbell Ensemble will be performing free in the Commonwealth Plaza at 5:30PM.
Vienna Boys Choir @ the Academy of Music
Just in case you’ve decided to hang around after the Handbell Ensemble, the Vienna Boys Choir will be performing classics in Verizon Hall at 7:30PM.
Ghostland Observatory @ the Troc
The Texas based electro-funk band Ghostland Observatory bring their unique music stylings to the Troc in Chinatown tonight.
Becoming a Man in 27 Easy Steps @ the Painted Bride
Scott Turner Schofield’s one man show comes to the Painted Bride for this weekend only, running tonight through Saturday.

Festival of Lights for Peace in Media
Rose Tree Park is hosting their annual festival today, starting at 5:30. Expect live music, Santa, crafts, food, and a heat concessions tent. (via Phillyist)
Bacon Brothers’ Save the Mummers Concert
That’s right. The concert is this weekend at the Electric Factory. All proceeds go towards saving the parade!
Caroling, Hayrides, & More @ Linvilla Orchards

Good Dog Turns Six!
Today, bar patrons will be treated to free appetizers, great drink specials, raffles, games, and all kinds of prizes for their six year anniversary. Plus, all the raffle money is going to be donated to the Morris Animal Shelter of Philadelphia.
