Tucked away on Sansom Street, Chris’ is a haven for jazz musicians, music lovers, and just those looking for an escape after a frenzied day. Featuring a different live band every night, Chris’ Jazz Cafe has a variety of specials Monday through Thursday to keep you coming back time and time again.
Monday: $1 Lagers
Tuesday: $2 Cover – $2 Drinks – $2 Snacks
Wednesday: $3 Specialty Drafts
Thursday: Buy one get one free wings – $2 Coors Light Bottles – $3 Corona Bottles
Those with an early bedtime can check out Chris’ happy hour, “Sunset Sessions,†every Monday through Friday from 5-7PM, which includes live music, a variety of drink specials and complimentary hors d’oeuvres.
Looking for an extra incentive to check out Chris’ Jazz Cafe? A valid student ID will get you $5 cover Monday through Thursday. No longer a student? Cover charges range from $2 to $30 depending on the night of the week and popularity of the band.

Man! I went to Chris’ tonight.. The music was amazing. Unfortunately, the staff was rude and kind of awkward (definitely not the most helpful). Ended up paying a $12 cover regardless of my student id and $2 tuesday. There was only 1 $2 beer. I’m not sure about anything else… The only thing that made this adventure worth it was the music and after a $200 dinner tab I’m not even sure about that.
