A Please Touch Museum Tour Just for Adults

Memorial Hall Exterior

Kids love the Please Touch Museum for its many exhibits and play areas geared just towards them. Parents love it because it keeps their little ones happy for hours. And adults-sans-kidlets love it because it helped preserve and restore the last remaining structure from the 1876 Centennial Exhibition.

However, for those of us without rugrats, since the Please Touch took up residence, it has been unseemly (and maybe even a little bit creepy) to pay a visit to Memorial Hall without children in tow. Happily, the museum has developed a tour just for the historically and architecturally inclined. Called the Centennial Grown-Up Tour, it can be taken at 2 p.m. as a guided tour, or between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. for the self-guided version.

Regularly, these tours cost $12 (self-guided) and $15 (guide-led). However, they’re being featured in this week’s edition of the Funsavers. Next Tuesday (March 30) and Thursday (April 1), you can experience these tours for half price. Just use the promotional code Fun.
