With the March 18th show sold out, you’ve only got two nights to catch the Kun-Yang Lin/Dancers at the Painted Bride Art Center.

The internationally acclaimed Kun-Yang Lin/Dancers are visiting the Painted Bride March 18th through the 20th, presenting the world premiere of Autumn Skin. Described as a “distinctive blend of traditional and Western dance [that] has the dark, bold force of a woodcut print” by the New York Times, the groundbreaking group draw influences from a variety of places, from calligraphy to martial arts.

Along with the presentation of Autumn Skin, the performance will also include a revival of Traces of Brush, another one of KYL/D’s acclaimed pieces.

For more information on the company, visit their official website. From there you can learn about their history, see photos, and even read about the individual dancers in the group.
