Best-selling Beatles author and Philadelphia journalist, Larry Kane, kicks off his run of 12 shows this Friday, March 5th, at the Franklin Institute.
Hosted by rock historian and radio personality Denny Somach, Larry Kane’s Ticket to Ride takes you on an adventure through Kane’s life as the only American reporter in the Beatles’ touring entourage during their 1965 and 1966 tours. The show runs Fridays at 8pm, and Saturdays at 5pm and 8pm.
The show consists of Kane’s wild stories and vivid, multimedia presentations from the Beatles world; from concert footage, to Lennon and McCartney’s last interview together in 1968, to Lennon’s weather report in Philadelphia in 1975.
Tickets are $33.50, and each purchase comes with a Larry Kane highlight CD, featuring audio interviews with the Beatles.
For more information, and to purchase tickets, visit the Franklin Institute’s official website.
