Inside the Couch Tomato Cafe

My favorite pizza place is Manayunk is a little spot known as The Couch Tomato Cafe. I have visited The Couch Tomato many times since I have been living in Philadelphia, and let me tell you, it never disappoints. I am always impressed with the wide variety of options available. There are so many gourmet pizza choices and an even bigger salad selection. I always go there with the goal of trying something new!

With over 40 topping choices and 10 homemade sauces the options are a bit overwhelming, but I am doing my best to try all the different pizza’s available. During this trip I had a Garden of Eating pizza slice. This masterpiece includes white pizza, sun-dried tomatoes, spinach, feta cheese and mozzarella. It was pure pizza bliss.

The salad selections are also out of this world! There is a wide variety of toppings to make your own salad or if you wanted to go a different route there are specialty vegetarian and meaty selections available too. Anything you could ever want in your salad, The Couch Tomato has it! Along with my pizza slice I had a nice Pear-Fection salad. It contained sliced pears, Gorgonzola, walnuts and sun dried cranberries with balsamic dressing. It was fresh, fruity and delicious!

All the produce is fresh and the food prepared daily. Stop in!
