New Photo Exhibition @ the Penn Museum: In Citizen’s Garb
At the end of March, the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology is opening a new photographic exhibition that explores the clothing and lives of South Plains Native Americans in the late 1800s.
Entitled In Citizens Garb, the exhibition displays powerful photography complimented by actual Native American clothing from the time period. Over a dozen objects, from a buckskin dress to moccasins, will be included in the gallery.
