Opening Day @ SquareBurger in Franklin Square
Despite cloudy skies and the threat of rain, a number of excited customers braved the weather to attend the reopening of Franklin Square and Stephen Starr’s SquareBurger.
Foodies of all ages were happy to chow down on the season’s first burgers, and get their hands on the new chicken fingers being served up at the burger shack.

It was hard not to be excited. Not just for the food, but because Ben Franklin was on the scene, dishing out SquareBurger’s famous ‘Cake Shakes’ to eager patrons and press.

Welcome back, SquareBurger. I’ve missed you. And your delicious Cake Shakes.
I’m looking forward to SquareBurger’s “Shake of the Month” which, according to Foobooz, begins in May. I can’t imagine how they’ll top the Tastykake Shake.

this is pretty fantastic. i’ve been a big fan of new york’s shake shack for some time now, so to have this little haven in my backyard is pretty legen…wait for it…dary.
