Philly Beer Week(end): Preview the Country’s Largest Beer Celebration

Sure, Philly Beer Week is three months away, but you can’t stop us Philadelphians from getting excited about it. In fact, we’ve opted to start celebrating a little early this year, with the Philly Beer Weekend.

From Friday, March 12th, to Sunday, March 14th, many of this year’s Beer Week participants are paying tribute to 2009’s incredibly successful week-of-beer, by offering up a number of outstanding beer specials, events, and tastings.

Friday, March 12:

Celebrate the Ales of the Revolution @ the City Tavern (138 South 2nd Street)

Proceeds benefit the Fair Food Farmstand in Reading Terminal Market, a year-round venue for local, humane producers, growers, farmers and fishers to sell their wares.
