Next week, the San Francisco Symphony stops by Verizon Hall, with world’s foremost Gustav Mahler interpreter conducting.
Conductor Michael Tilson Thomas will lead the symphony through a performance of Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 on Tuesday, March 23rd. Thomas recently won three Grammy Awards for his Mahler recordings of Symphony No. 8 and Adagio from Symphony No. 10.
Tickets range from $39 to $113, and you can stream some of Thomas’ arrangements off the Kimmel Center’s official website. Have a listen.
