On Thursday, March 25th, visitors to the National Constitution Center can enjoy the usual; a tour of the exhibits, experience Freedom Rising, visit the Inspiring a Nation gallery, and a five-course Italian dinner. Wait, what?
That’s right. The Constitution Center, in conjunction with their Ancient Rome & America exhibition, is hosting a special five course Italian dinner next Thursday. Tickets are $150 per person, and reservations for this wonderfully catered evening are required.
The menu will feature wine pairing from Italy’s Mastroberardino winery, selected by certified sommelier Salvatore Galati. And as for the dinner, check out some of the highlights.
Seared Cod
with pappardelle, broccoli rabe, roasted peppers, calamata olives, extra virgin olive oil and oven-roasted tomato basil broth drizzle, garnished with crispy calamari
Classic Risotto
served with porcini mushrooms and fava beans, finished with parmigiano reggiano and toasted focaccia
Braised Short Ribs
osso bucco style with Chianti, tomatoes, fennel, garlic, and onions served with roasted garlic soft polenta and sautéed baby spinach
Tiramisu Sake
served with fresh berries
A complete listening of the menu and wine selection is available on the Constitution Center’s official website. Have a look.
