Friday Night Wine Tastings @ Savona

Pouring Wine @ Savona
Like many people I know, I love wine. I love white wine, I love red wine, I am an equal opportunity wine drinker. Trying new types of wine from various places is one of my favorite things to do.
I first heard about Friday night Wine Tastings at Savona from a friend and immediately put it on my radar. When I was given the opportunity go to check it out myself, I couldn’t have been more excited to spend an evening sampling wine. Is there really any better way to spend a Friday evening after a long week at work? I think not.
The weekly class starts at 5:30pm and each week features a different theme. When I went the focus was on the Mediterranean.

Sampling Different Wines @ Savona's Friday Night Tasting
The tasting was taught by Master Sommelier, Melissa Monosoff who does an outstanding job. She touched upon various wine drinking tips and tricks, and she also filled us in on some wine secrets. I learned more about wine in that hour and a half with Melissa than I have on any wine tour before.
She added a fantastic personal touch to the tasting and her excitement about her craft was infectious. Along with sipping some fabulous wines from around the globe, we learned some wine tasting techniques and experienced how wine changes with food.
Every Friday night, Master Sommelier, Melissa Monosoff hosts a wine tasting for up to 18 guests. The tasting costs $35 plus tax and service charge.
