Schuylkill River Tour to Bartram’s Gardens
Where: Board at the Schuylkill River Trail at Walnut Street
Why: A boat tour to the nation’s oldest botanical garden makes a beautiful and historic memory.

Making Scents: The Art and Passion of Fragrance
Where: Longwood Gardens
Why: This is definitely a step up from the usual bouquet of flowers.
When: Open 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.

Dad Vail Regatta
Where: Kelly Drive along the Schuylkill River
Why: Celebrating on Saturday means Mom can relax all day on Sunday.
When: Saturday, 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Extras: Walk around and enjoy the view!

Latin Roots & Rhythms Festival
Where: Esperanza Academy Charter School
Why: The third and final day of the festival is sure to dazzle. And Mom’s a salsa dancer at heart.
When: Sunday, 3:00-5:00 p.m.

Mural Arts Tour
Where: Departs from Independence Visitor Center
Why: Whether you pick the open-air bus tour that explores Philly neighborhoods or the walking tour, Mom will enjoy her lovely, art-filled day.
When: Open-air trolley tour – 10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon; walking tour – 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens Mosaic Mural Walking Tour
Where: Starts at Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens
Why: Isaiah Zagar turns found items into glittery art. Your Mom turned grocery shopping and raking leaves into fun for the whole fam.
When: Saturday, 12:00 noon and 4:00 p.m.; Sunday, 4:00 p.m.
