First Person Arts’ Edible World @ Chestnut Hill Farmers Market

Come Thursday, June 24th, First Person Arts hosts yet another event in their Edible World series, this time featuring Caribbean cuisine and culture.

Head over to the Chestnut Hill Farmers Market for an evening of delicious food and storytelling, as First Person Arts pairs a traditional Trinidadian dinner (prepared by Claudette Campbell, owner and chef of Calypso) with a reading from Ann Vanderhoof, author of The Spice Necklace: My Adventures in Caribbean Cooking, Eating and Island Life. Tickets to the dinner and reading are $35.

From now up until the event, First Person Arts is also collecting your personal food and travel stories. Submissions will be posted on the First Person Arts blog.

For more information on the event, and how to submit your stories, check out First Person Arts’ official website.
