Most historic tours of Philadelphia last two of three hours, taking you to a handful of sites before sending you on your way. Next week’s tour, takes you to over 200, and lasts for twelve hours.

That’s right. Twelve hours.

The Great Twelve-Hour Tour takes you from the Delaware River to the Schuylkill River, introducing you to a number of public artworks and historic attractions. The tour takes place in four consecutive, three-hour phases; 8am at the National Constitution Center for Old City, 11am at the Bourse for Society Hill, 2pm at the Independence Visitors Center for a 19th Century Philadelphia tour, and 5pm at the Wanamaker Eagle to explore the Parkway.
