This Week’s Phanatic Fan Photo Statue Location: The Franklin Institute
We’ve entered week eight of the “Phanatic Around Town” photo submission contest and the great photos continue to roll in. Remember, submit your own Phanatic statue photos for a chance to win free Philly baseball gear. Check out last week’s winner after the jump.
Week Eight’s featured Phanatic Around Town location: The Franklin Institute
This week’s featured statue is The Franklin Institute’s “Ben Phranklin” statue and the deadline to submit your photo is Monday, June 7th.
Photo Op:
This weekend (June 5th), the world-premiere exhibition, Cleopatra, opens at The Franklin Institute. Explore the life of Cleopatra through never-before-seen artifacts and multimedia displays and learn about the ongoing search for “The Last Queen of Egypt”.
After discovering Cleopatra, seek out the “Ben Phranklin” Phanatic statue — located at the bottom of the stairs on 20th Street — and snap a few photos with the big guy!
To submit your photo, upload it to our Visit Philly Facebook fan page or share it on Twitter using the hashtag: #Phanatic. Each week’s winners will receive free Philly baseball gear. Click here for all the details.
