Your Phanatic statue photo could be featured live on-air during a Phillies game television broadcast!

Attention Phanatic Around Town fans… the Phillies are looking for photos of you posing with your favorite Phanatic statue. The team will select a few of the top photos and display them during upcoming Phillies broadcasts — your chance at stardom!

To be eligible for selection, upload your BEST Phanatic Around Town photo to the Visit Philly Facebook Page fan photo gallery. If you’ve already submitted Phanatic statue photos to our Facebook page in past weeks, you do not need to resubmit your photos. However, new photos are highly encouraged.

Since we’re nice people, here are a few tips that could increase your chances of being selected:

- Wear Phillies gear. In your photo, show your team spirit with Phillies t-shirts, caps or jerseys.

- Capture the excitement of the city. If possible, try to get a great backdrop in your photo. Think City Hall towering in the distance, bustling crowds at Rittenhouse Square or the Pizza at Schmidt’s, a bright and sunny day at Franklin Square, etc.

- Be creative! Make your photo come alive — try a funny face or pose with the statue to help yours stand out from the pack.

How to submit your photo:

2. Click the Add Photos button
3. Upload a new photo or select an image from one of your own Facebook albums
4. Cross your fingers!

By participating, you are authorizing the Phillies to reproduce, broadcast and otherwise use the photo in any media form worldwide for an unlimited duration and without compensation.

You also are representing that you are 18 years of age or older (or if the photo is of someone who is younger than 18 years old, that you are the parent or guardian of that person and you are authorizing the Phillies to use the photo on their behalf).

Note: Any photos selected that were uploaded to the Visit Philly Fan Page before July 28, 2010 will not be used during a broadcast without the expressed consent of the submitter.
