It’s officially August, which means the 2010 NFL season is right around the corner. Training camp is currently in session and this Thursday, the Philadelphia Eagles are giving fans their first look at this year’s “Birds” with the 2nd Annual Eagles Flight Night.

The fun begins at 5 p.m.with tons of family activities, the Super Bowl Grab game, and the Eagles’ Wives Yard Sale. Then at 7 p.m., the action hits the field with a full-contact practice complete with player intros and play-calling by Eagles commentator Merrill Reese.

Throughout the evening, the Eagles Pep Band, Eagles cheerleaders and SWOOP will provide special performances and the night concludes with a fireworks finale!

Fans have a chance to win one of thousands of random prize giveaways, including jerseys right off of the Eagles players’ backs, and plenty of autographed merchandise will also be on-hand. All of this fun is for a great cause — Eagles Flight Night is the largest annual fund-raising event for the Eagles Youth Partnership.
