Celebrate 30 Years of Pennsylvania Dutch Merchants at Reading Terminal Market

A Pennsylvania Dutch stand at the Reading Terminal Market's Fall Harvest Festival
Wander around Reading Terminal Market and you’d think that the Pennsylvania Dutch merchants have been there for as long as the market itself. However, those plain-spoken folk who dominate the northwest corner of the historic market’s real estate have only really been there in force since the eighties.
This Thursday, September 30, Reading Terminal will be celebrating 30 years of the Pennsylvania Dutch merchants in the market. Gather at 11 a.m. at the Piano Court to meet original standholders and current owners, listen to the history, stories and memories, and get a taste of anniversary cake and shoo fly pie. While you’re there, make sure to patronize the PA Dutch stalls, as they’ll all be offering anniversary specials.
